New Diapers - NO Diapers

An update on potty training- A SUCCESS! Mostly. Sasha has been remembering to go #1 on the potty on a consistent basis. Our secret Gramee technique is lots of pez and m&ms, which we've rationed down quite a bit lately. Our dear Sasha has graduated to full-time panties, and it will be any day now that she feels comfortable to go #2 on the throne.

Juliet, on the other hand, will be our little expirement into the unsettling world of cloth diapers- a concept that sends shivers down the collective spines of all our friends and family. Hey, we're the Thornton-Bancroft household. Did you expect us to be traditional and conformist? Nope! The good news is that cloth diapers have been modernized. They are super comfy on baby's tushy, they are adjustable and snap together, they have an absorbable inner lining, and they look damn cute. Check it out!


Gramee recently took Sasha and Juliet (and myself) up to Columbus to visit Aunt Celeste, Great Grandma, and Aunt Paulette + Matthew and Christopher. The camera was set on jumbo-flash so most of the pictures were over-saturated. Here was the only one salvagable and it's adorable anyway.


Lastly, we are considering buying a Honda Metropolitan scooter for Amy. It gets nearly 100 mpg, it looks sleek, and it will be a sweet little second mode of transportation for her short commute to work. Try to picture her (sans baby bjorn) zipping away down Clovernoll Lane toward Coleraine Township. Zoom zoom!
