We took the kids on a trial run for their costumes to Parky's Farm on a pre-Halloween family excursion with Trent and his family. There's only one problem... the spider-man costumes were only 90% done. You may notice a crooked non-legged spider on Juliet's costume, and a hastily cut paper spider on Sasha's costume. Other than the arachnid symbols, the costumes look pretty awesome. Well done Amy!
Last night we made a camp fire and cooked dinner rolls. The wood was still damp, so we ended up with a smokey fire, but it was really hot once it got going. We also tried to cook meatballs, but that was a total fail. Here's a sequence of us going to get wood, gathering the wood, and returning with the wood...
We checked out a Halloween craft book from the library. This is what Sasha and I worked on today. It's supposed to be an owl.
