Easter Chaos!!!

NEVER AGAIN! We decided to try the Free easter event at "The Beach" waterpark yesterday. They had pony rides, a petting zoo, and hundreds of eggs. What could go wrong? Well, it started and ended with an easter egg hunt that involved a ravenous swarm of parents and 1-4 year olds sweeping onto a field littered with plastic eggs. Check out this video of Sasha toddling along behind the wall of greed, while we helplessly watch the horde vacuum up every egg in sight.



We did sweep up Sasha at the end of that video and carried her to the end of the field where she had time to grab two eggs before the rest vanished before her eyes.

This morning started EARLY. Sasha, hopped up on easter bunny dreams, woke up at 5:30am and called down for Daddy with excitement. Her easter basket was in the door of the toy room, and that darn bunny had hid eggs all over the place in there. Sasha got a kite, a book about rainfall, a glittery baton, a Hello Kitty DIY bracelet, and, of course, a chocolate bunny.


We also went to see Frog and Toad at my old haunts in Centerville. Sasha's favorite part of the play was the pink mail-girl Snail and the song about cookies. Here is a picture of her and the snail.
