LOST in your eyes!

Amy and I were watching LOST on Thursday when Juliet suddenly woke up. LOST is, of course, our favorite show, and neither of us wanted to divert our attention away from the riveting high definition drama playing on our TV. Finally, Amy compromised and just got Juliet and brought her out to the couch. Juliet was wide awake and bright eyed with no interest in breast feeding. She just sat on Amy's lap with a huge smile on her face watching the episode with us. The cute part of the story is that LOST was a Juliet-centric episode, it was focused on the character Juliet Burke who inspired our daughter's unique name (no it wasn't Shakespeare- it was LOST).

Juliet has been clapping like a pro, and we knew you wouldn't believe it. Here she is applauding under the tutelage of her sister.


The snow is about a foot deep. We bought a cheap inflatable sled for the small slope leading from our neighbor's front yard into our driveway. Another neighbor made a "U.S.A." snow fort from the pile of snow shoved to the end of the cul de sac by the pickup truck plow. Check it out:
